Courtyard by Marriott Westbury Long Island

I was awoken today by the maid of the hotel after she banged extremely loud and hard on my door. I didn’t respond to the hard bangs because I was still in bed half asleep. She left my door alone for about 1 minute then banged the door hard again for a third time. I had to yell thru my closed door to her to tell her my checkout time was two hours from that time. I came to this hotel for work and needed my rest so the fact that my sleep was cut short from this kind of loud disrespectful disruption, was very disappointing. I informed the hotel manager about what happened once I checked out of the hotel a few hours later and his response appeared to lack empathy. He told me with a dry tone that she must’ve didn’t know my checkout time (which of course was obvious to me cause the woman was bang

Positive: The hotel and rooms are clean. Beds were comfortable. The staff was exceptional. Overall it was a nice hotel. Negative: Slight musty smell.

I had an unexpectedly long and stressful travel day when my flight was canceled due to severe weather and flooding at JFK during the Halloween season. After waiting on standby for two flights, I finally arrived in New York City around 3 AM the following day — completely exhausted.||Marriott was incredibly accommodating and allowed me to adjust my reservation dates without any change fees, which was a huge relief given the situation. When I finally arrived, Mohammad at the front desk made the check-in process smooth and effortless despite the late hour. We booked a block of rooms at this hotel for our September 2025 wedding. We had to write a review to praise the events coordinator, Matthew, who made out experience so seamless and smooth. We would recommend this hotel for room blocks any time!

I stayed in 407 on business and the hotel is pretty nice, looks like it might have been renovated. I stayed in a Courtyard in Buckhead a few weeks ago and it had the same room features except the outlets on the wall by the tv and night stands can fit multiple plugs at the same time. The only suggestion I have is having a couple of house umbrellas behind the front desk and the parking lot had poor drainage.
