Hilton Garden Inn St. George

Most inexpensive, yet “complete” breakfast I’ve had at a Hilton hotel. Room overall was excellent. Some might say the decor is a little dated, but it is traditional-style furniture in excellent condition. Two nice restaurants right near the hotel (a very short walk). Front Desk was professional AND friendly. Only notable negative was that the TV had many movie channels, but most did not work (subscription required)—very disappointing, and annoying. Everything else is similar to other Hilton Hotels, which are above average over all other hotels in this class. In short, a solid hotel well worth staying at.

Positive: Friendly check-in, ample close parking, fast freeway access, three restaurants (steakhouse, Mexican and Cracker Barrel) in easy walking distance. Staff was great and the room was spotless. Breakfast was inexpensive. Excellent experience! Negative: I had to join the rewards program to get free wifi.

The location is convenient and the Rib and Chophouse across from the parking lot is an added bonus. The staff here are fantastic as is typical with Hilton Hotels, and the lobby and gym are both very comfortable and updated. However the hotel itself is extremely outdated and rooms are run down. The beds are uncomfortable and the air conditioner is extremely loud. It’s sounded like a jet taking off every time it would turn on. I finally turned it off at 2am in an attempt to get some sleep, but it kept randomly cycling on and off. As a Hilton Honors guest, I always choose a a Hilton Hotel over the others, however next time we go through St George we will stay at the Ramada which is cheaper and much more comfortable.

Very nice setup! The room was slightly smaller than i thought i was going to be, but it was cozy. Everyone got their own keys, which was nice. Only downside is that we couldn't get one of the lamps to work. TV had good shows. Very nice service at breakfast as well. Thank you guys for making the Viewmont High trip so memorable.
