Hilton Garden Inn San Mateo

Stayed here for a business trip|Room was comfortable. Bed was good. Perfect for a business trip. Located close to some shops and restaurants.|Only complaint was that the air conditioning can be quite noisy

We have stayed here a couple times now and were very happy with our experience both times. The hotel is tucked back among some tech companies close to the waterfront and the area is very quiet on the weekends (we haven't stayed during the week.) We love that we can park the car at check-in, for the night, and walk to the nearby shopping center (1 block away) which has plenty of great stores, a multitude of dining choices and a really cool arcade with bowling, a bar and more! Also within walking distance are a couple of parks and the area is quite nice to stroll. The hotel itself is very clean and well maintained. I was impressed from the moment we pulled in to the parking lot (parking is free). Room was modern and clean and the hotel is nicely decorated and clean. Breakfast buffet i

Solid HGI, very good location in Tech Hub with many solid chain resturants within walking distance. Overall, a good stay. Breakfast was decent but limited for Diamonds (ie no egg or meat options). Rooms have been recently renovated.

I cannot say enough about this hotel. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and special. Any problems that you have in the room are addressed immediately. The restaurant staff is awesome, the breakfast is delicious. The room are spacious and comfortable extremely clean, but the best thing is the way the entire staff makes you feel so important is just WOW.

Positive: Clean, easy parking and quick check in Negative: Bed mattress was over warm and needs to be replaced.
