Hilton Garden Inn San Diego/Rancho Bernardo

The hotel and rooms are nice aside from the shower handle. It was broken and took me a moment to get it turned off my first night. The service was lovely and everything was very clean. I didn't enjoy paying for parking when there is no clear parking lot for the hotel as it blends with other businesses. The service at the restaurant was great.

Did not use all facilities. Rooms are nice. We got connecting rooms, gave us opportunity to spend quality time with grand kids. One small thing but needs to be fixed quickly. None of the USB chargers for phones work

I stayed here for two nights and was really disappointed with my experience. After I got back to my room on the second night, I found that it hadn’t been cleaned at all—and there was no communication about the hotel’s room cleaning policy. The TV didn’t work (I couldn’t even turn it on), and the shower switch was extremely hard to use. You practically have to use a lot of force to close it—feels like only a strong man could do it. For the price, I expected much better service and maintenance. The hotel itself feels outdated, and I would definitely stay somewhere else next time.

Stayed here for 2 weeks. The hotel is outdated and my room faced the highway so a lot of noise. Bar is nice and bartenders are very friendly, pool is a welcome way to cool off during hot days. Unfortunately my stay was sub par due to not having hot water for a day and the dry cleaning service of the hotel ruining one of my shirts for which the hotel refused to take any accountability. Would not recommend because of this sub par service.

Positive: Location is great. Although it's is close to the freeway, it's quiet. Negative: It would be nice if a free continental was offered along with breakfast for purchase.
