Hilton Garden Inn Ocala Downtown

I had a great experience with my room and with the front desk team member Ivette. She was very accommodating, contacted me several times thru text messaging to ensure my stay was a 5, always had a friendly smile and positive attitude. Location I give a 4 because they took away valet parking and I believe they should bring it back. Downtown Ocala and the parking garage not a fan but will deal with it for a great hotel.

Ivette was absolutely wonderful. Very personable and kind with a rare beauty that radiates in her smile. She lives up to her middle name, Lovely! Extremely helpful with all my questions. The hotel is in a great location and offers a wonderful facility. Great fitness room. Restraunt is wonderful also. Overall it was a great extended stay.

Very nice hotel! Clean rooms. Nice staff, Didn't like to see you had to pay to park at the hotel, should let people know ahead of time before making a reservation. The location of the hotel was great though, walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Wish the hotel had a pool, but the restaurant in the hotel had great food & drink options, All in all a great stay, would return.

At check-in, there were not even enough spots out front and at the drive under there were no parking signs. I had no idea where to park so I parked my car in the no parking space hoping it wouldn’t get towed and went upstairs only to be told that I had to go across the street to a parking deck. Traveling alone I did not feel comfortable, but I had no other choice. The second night when I returned to the hotel to park in the parking deck, there was a group of men in the parking deck playing loud music and partying in the deck. I felt very unsafe, but had no other choice again. The hotel elevator key card feature was turned off. So anyone off the street could access the elevator and go straight up to the room levels. . Great location downtown. Walk to bars and centralized. Place was nice. My only complaint was the moved my room from the one I chose on the app. I was disappointed by that. Only 1 other time it happened in a year. I have diamond status with Hilton. Sad it’s one of those experiences that didn’t meet all my expectations but I’m staying there again tonight. Let’s see how that goes.
