Hilton Garden Inn New York/Midtown Park Ave

We stayed here 4 nights in December with a baby and loved it!!! The staff is so nice and very attentive. We loved the view from our king room on the 22nd floor, summit one Vanderbilt was right in front of us! The rooms aren’t huge but it was big enough for 2 adults and a baby. Super convenient that you can message the staff for any needs via text. We asked for a pack n play and had one delivered to our room probably within 15 min, amazing. The location is great! Pretty much walking distance to everything but not in the middle of all the noise. Subway access was also a short walk. We would 100% stay here again. There were a few pros and many cons of staying at this hotel. |The pros:|-Great location! Walking distance to many attractions. |-Parking garage directly next door. |-The beds were comfortable. |That’s where it ends. |The cons:|-Terribly loud. We were in room 306 and heard loud music and bass all night. It was the worst nights sleep. We had another room as well (303) and they heard slamming doors and the elevator all night. |- I called ahead and requested a room on a higher floor and when we went to check in, there was no note in my reservation. The front desk was not helpful and said we could wait an extra 4 or 5 hours to get a room two floors higher. The view wouldn’t have been any better so we decided to stick with the 3rd floor. |-Housekeeping is extremely slow. We requested extr

I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn on Park Avenue and found it to be a well-located, comfortable base for exploring Manhattan. It’s just steps from Grand Central Station, Times Square, Bryant Park, and several subway lines, ideal for getting around the city with ease. While it’s not a luxury hotel, it delivers solid comfort and convenience. The room was compact (typical for Manhattan), but thoughtfully arranged with a very comfortable bed. There was a faint musty scent, possibly from humidity or age, but nothing that disrupted our stay. The overall vibe was cozy and functional. The front desk staff were genuinely kind and welcoming, which made a big difference. Housekeeping was reliable, and the spacious lobby offered a nice place to relax. We stayed on the 19th floor, which was quite quiet, allowing the whole family to sleep well. Although the view from my window wasn't great, I didn't come to Manhattan to spend all my time in the hotel room. The gym was impressive—clean and at a comfortable temperature. Generally, hotel gyms can be freezing due to the AC during winter, but this one was just right.||The room was small, as expected for Manhattan, but spacious enough for our needs. The hotel did not offer a complimentary breakfast, so I decided to eat outside, which wasn't a big deal. ||The only downside was when I went to take a shower and placed my belongings on the toilet tank.
