Hilton Garden Inn New York/Manhattan-Midtown East

As Hilton property owners and Gold members, we have a deep appreciation for the brand’s usually outstanding portfolio. We transitioned to the Hilton Garden Inn Midtown after a phenomenal stay at The Quinn, expecting a continuation of that excellence. Instead, we found ourselves in a property that, for the safety of the public, should have been closed.||We spent three nights and four days in what can only be described as an active, hazardous construction site. I take no pleasure in writing a review this critical, but the "unacceptable" conditions we faced demand a warning to others.||The Litany of Failures:||Safety & Environment: Entering the hotel was a physical challenge. Rooms were clean and comfortable, with good beds and decent space for Manhattan, but some fixtures felt a bit dated and walls were thin enough to hear hallway noise. The service was generally friendly and helpful at the front desk, though response times for requests could be slow at busy hours. The location is convenient for Midtown sights and multiple subway lines, which made getting around the city easy, but the immediate area can feel crowded and noisy, especially late at night.

Had an amazing experience here. Super friendly service, clean and organized room and they had everything I need. Water bottles, coffee, tea, cups, blow drier (which often aren't present in hotel rooms in my experience). They also give a generous breakfast bag in the morning. Great location too.

The Hilton Garden was the perfect location for my business stay. The staff was very professional and friendly. This was my first time in New York and the location of the hotel was perfect to get around and many restaurants in the location. Thank you for your excellent service and I will tell others and I will be back. OMG the food in New York, you can die for - Yummy to my tummy!💞

This hotel is under construction and they don't disclose it on the web page and the construction is a disaster. There's a single elevator available for all 27 floors expect 20 to 30 minute waits to go up or down. The elevator is tiny so you'll skip several opportunities as it will already be full and they're using it as the freight elevator as well. There is no restaurant it's under construction and the rooms are tiny for New York standards and the construction in the newly finished rooms looks like a child did it. I would not stay at this hotel again. It looks like Hilton is winning the race to the bottom. Not even any soap in the bathroom to wash your hands with I was told to use the soap from the shower.
