Hilton Garden Inn Nanuet

If I could give zero stars, I would. I’ve never left a review of a hotel while still staying there. This place is awful. I cannot believe Hilton would allow there name to be associated with a place like this. Parking is awful. I know you can’t always help that, but be aware. The rooms are nasty. There is mildew in the shower, patched holes in the walls, the couch is broken and has stains and tears all over it, and the two tables are about to fall apart. The hallways have trash throughout them and look like they get vacuumed once a month at most. The front desk workers are polite, but very unprofessional. We walked by a few times and they were eating full meals at the front desk, leaning back with their feet on the counter, and reminded me more of fast food employees rather than a HGI s

Not guests at this hotel but staying next door and in need of a convenient place for dinner, we crossed the adjoining parking lot to eat. "Ben" took excellent care of us on a very quiet evening. Drinks served promptly. Good meals. My pasta primavera was excellent with fresh grilled vegetables, penne cooked to perfection, delicious sauce. Husband thought his steak was below par but at this time of the day and circumstances (terrible winter weather), he managed. That said, the sides were excellent - French fries and a good-sized, delicious Caesar salad. Drinks were pricy ($8 IPA and $11 rum and Coke) but we sure needed them. We've stayed/eaten at Garden Inns before, and the ambiance might not be to everyone's liking (dining in the hotel lobby), but then, we were traveling and not on a date.

The bathroom tub wasn't clean,the room smelled damp, and the elevator was dirty. The location was great and we didn't use any services other than the check in at the desk and that was fine

I have stayed at the Hilton quite a few times and I must say that the customer service is immaculate! Merissa And Kevin are fantastic! Merissa it’s absolutely Amazing with a smile on her face greeting customers And make him sure that they feel welcomedI have witnessed this coming in and out of the hotel! There are two other ladies that work the front desk I can’t remember their names, but everyone there is very friendly and helpful. You’re always greeted with a smile! The staff at the Hilton go above and beyond to make sure that my stay is as sufficient as possible! I made a mistake and booked a room a week in advance, thinking that I was booking it for the week that I came in and the manager Jason cleared everything for me told me no worries and booked my room for the same price that it

I can say without exaggeration that this is the worst Hilton property I have visited in at least five years. The lack of basic maintenance at this location is unacceptable.
