DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Nanuet

My wife and I have stayed there several times while visiting our daughter and son in law. We've always had a great stay. The hotel staff is wonderful and very accommodating. Our rooms have been clean and well maintained. We would recommend anyone traveling in the Nyack area to stay there. We've tried a couple of the other hotels in close proximity to the Doubletree but we always end up here because we like it so much.

It was clean. It was quiet. It was comfortable. The value for the price was certainly there. That's five stars from me. Bonus: The hot tub! I didn't have time to use it, but I checked it out, and it had good jets and a nice water temperature. The pool area was beautiful, certainly one of the most beautiful pool areas I have ever seen of a hotel of this sort, and the pool was quite large. Now, I can, and will, always complain -- but here, my complaints are minor: (1) I appreciate that there was a bathtub in the room, as many hotels are destroying those wonderful fixtures to install trendy-looking, but far less enjoyable, showers. However, the drain plug in the bathtub did not work; even when fully shifted into the upper position, enough water was draining out that I could not fill

Double DON'T. It was yiiiick. Had originally booked for 4 nights but had a family emergency so only stayed for the first and last night. On the first night, the bathtub was dripping (and I could hear it in my room,) as well, the shower turned on when you ran the bath. The fridge was wobbly, barely cold, and had a puddle of water in it. The hallways smelled musty and the whole room was dingy. You could see right into my room from the gym. I mentioned the plumbing issues the first night and, after questioning whether I knew how to use the bathtub/shower, they said they'd fix it. but... When I came back 2 nights later: - The coffee cup I'd left out was still there, now with mold (and they did not offer to clean it/take it out of the room) - A weird little piece of electronic/wire was le

We can't say enough good about this hotel and their wonderful, dedicated staff! We recently stayed here with our grandsons and had a truly terrific experience. As we were getting ready to check out, we realized we couldn't find the winter jacket of one of our grandsons. Housekeeping helped us try to find it, but we were unable to, and eventually needed to get on the road. Management and Housekeeping reached out the very next day to say they’d found a jacket — unfortunately not ours — but they didn’t stop there. A few days later, they contacted us again to let us know they had found another jacket, and this time it was ours!||Lily and the housekeeping staff were exceptional throughout: they stayed in touch, sent photos, and were consistently responsive and kind. We had a wonderful stay here with our grandsons and can’t say enough good things about the staff — especially Lily and the Housekeeping staff. As we were getting ready to check out, we realized we couldn't find one of our grandson's winter jackets. Housekeeping helped us, but we were unable to locate it before we had to leave. Housekeeping contacted us the very next day to say they’d found a jacket (sadly not ours), but they didn’t stop there.
