Hampton Inn Nanuet

I’ve stayed at other Hampton inn’s before which I usually really enjoyed but this one just wasn’t what I expected. sheets had yellow stains on it and I took out the pullout bed from couch and there was lots of crumbs and also there was a small towel on the floor by the head of the bed I would recommend Hampton but not this one!! I’m still trying to get a refund but not easy I’m very disappointed that I haven’t been compensated yet!! Because I would expect they would take care of unsatisfactory conditions!! (I do want to point out that the staff members were great ppl especially the manager loya great!!)

Great place right off 287. Good breakfast selection. Very comfortable bed and we had a great night’s sleep. Near lots of places to eat and plenty of parking. Congested area though and we had to make a U-turn to find the entrance.

Positive: Location and service Negative: The exercise bike and treadmill in the gym did not work.

I stay at Hampton Inns all the time but will not return to this one. No supplies in the bathroom, the TV didn't work, it was a beautiful large screen but when picture doesn't work it's no good. There was mold on the ceilings, wires hanging from the a/c. To top if off we got stuck in the elevator, then it would not let us off at the lobby, the button would not work for that floor, no not the light on the button it just didn't recognize the lobby to stop at. Ended up in the basement, not a great place, trying to find the stairs which was on the other side of the building. This was the first night there so we never used the elevator again during our stay as we were afraid of getting stuck in there. We were on the third floor. The staff was nice, but their answer was it's an old elevato

Checking in took a little time, only one working the counter, completely understand! Had a hard time getting into room, staff that helped was not the nicest. Room was warm, and the hotel over all. Needs some updates. And the breakfast was a little sketchy. Only felt comfortable eating packaged yogurt and a banana. It got the job done for one overnight.
