Hilton Garden Inn Fort Collins

Last May I booked (did not end up staying) at a Hilton Garden Inn located in the Denver DTC area and it was a horrible experience 😫. Although I have stayed 46 nights in hotels since then I have avoided the Garden Inn brand. This trip the Embassy Suites in Loveland (the hotel I stay at in the area) was booked and the alternatives were not appealing so I took a chance. This stay was everything that the last Hilton Garden Inn I stayed at failed to be. It was clean well maintained, the room was exactly as advertised, the restaurant was reasonably priced and good food and the staff was friendly. In particular, Justin, the front desk agent was fantastic. He was courteous, friendly, respectful and kind. Kudos to Justin and the restaurant manager that worked the evening shifts during my stay. Furthermore, Justin and the restaurant manager whose name I can't remember again were outstanding. I did have two woes that I believe were handled, one involving the flies,dead and alive in my room . Furthermore, I did also leave a message for you(Marissa, General Manager) with Shantae, and never received a response. I will be completing my survey that I received. Being a long time Hilton honors member(Twenty-five years) I'm somewhat perplexed at this time. I would appreciate your follow-up in these matters . This was our first time to Fort Collins and chose this hotel mainly based on availability on a busy homecoming weekend at CSU. (which we weren't aware of) The hotel is very easy to get to off the interstate, but far enough back from the busy roads that we found it very quiet at night. It's probably like most Garden Inns everywhere as far as layout and amenities, but we found this location to be spotlessly clean, both the public areas and the room. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a 6 day stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a breakfast buffet at a reasonable $15, and also a full bar. I stayed one night at the Hilton in Fort Collins for a business trip and it was a really good experience. The location made things easy since it’s close to downtown and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Check-in was simple and the staff were friendly and welcoming right from the start.The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The bed was great and I slept well, which is always important when you’re traveling for work.
