Hilton Garden Inn Chicago/Midway Airport

Let me be clear: finding a hotel that balances world-class service with a genuine sense of community is no small feat. But after my recent stay, I can say without reservation—this is a place that gets it done. From the moment we arrived, the staff demonstrated a level of professionalism and preparedness that is, frankly, too rare these days. We aren't just talking about a comfortable bed—though the linens were excellent—we’re talking about a team that understands the importance of service-oriented leadership.

Breakfast is expensive and bad. No free buffet. The coffee is awful. 30$ to park and it’s not any kind of secured. Room is decorated like a tomb. Cold, dark, extremely poor lighting. Shower drips. You can hear your neighbor flush.

We had a two room suite. To our disappointment there were no drinking glasses provided in the rooms. I asked at the front desk and she confirmed that they no longer put glasses in the rooms, not even plastic ones. ||Room was dated and worn. Needs a renovation. ||There were two plastic bottles of water in the rooms, free for Hilton Honors members, otherwise $3. Seriously?||Only amenities were a Keurig machine in the room and coffee in the lobby. ||There are several other hotels in the same "complex". Strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

Nice hotel. Well maintained and clean while they're renovating their restaurant, their pool room was dimly lit while the exercise room next door over is well, lit and clean.
