Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta Marietta

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had an exceptional experience at the Hilton Garden Inn in Marietta, GA, thanks to Diane. After I had already checked out, I realized I’d left behind a personal item. Diane went truly above and beyond to locate it and make sure it was returned to me. What could have been a sad, stressful situation turned into relief because of her care, follow-through, and genuine kindness. Throughout, her communication was clear, professional, and warm. This experience was a reminder that there really are good people in the world. She is a treasure! I’m deeply grateful.

After seeing a mix of good and bad reviews before staying at this Hilton, I was a little nervous. I was not disappointed at all. We checked in around 7:30 pm and it was pouring rain. Check in was a breeze. The restaurant was open until 9 so we didn't need to go out again. It has a limited menu but the burgers we great. Room was clean and quiet. It looked like minor remodeling was going on in the lobby but it wasn't bad. All-in-all, it was a pleasant stay and would come here again.

Zero stars if that was an option. This was the worst hotel experience we have ever had.Had booked two rooms. Immediately after check-in, one room smelled bad and the air conditioning in both rooms did not work. Both rooms were unbearably hot despite running the AC for hours. The thermostat did not budge. We notified staff multiple times and even requested fans as a temporary solution. We were told they would check and get back to us—no one ever did. After waiting longer due to exhaustion, the situation did not improve. Near midnight, replacement rooms were offered, but we were told they would “not cool below 74°F”, which was unacceptable given that one of the rooms was already at “68°F” but felt unbearable. Positive: Local worked great for going a ball game. Negative: Did not like the cost of breakfast and that you didn’t have a free continental breakfast. We ended up going somewhere else.Bathroom toilet seat shape did not match the toilet shape. Temp in the hotel/hallway was way to hot 83, when it was 90-80 outside

Beware - the reviews are true. I should have checked them before booking, but I’ve always trusted the Hilton Garden brand. As soon as you walk into the lobby, there is a smell of mold. (I’m very allergic to it and have a heightened sensitivity). Room 222 had stains on the carpet, chipped paint, no refrigerator (just a board with chipped paint) and reeked of mold. If I had to guess, the hotel has been flooded and it wasn’t not properly handled. I canceled my booking and scrambled to find an alternative accommodation. I’m still shocked that corporate hasn’t invested the money to fix these issues. This is a prime location in the city and your guests deserve better. Plus side: the front desk was great. He was friendly, professional, helpful and empathetic. He was the best part of this expe
