Enjoyed the bar area and restaurant. The bathrooms are in need of the following renovations: 1) larger shower area; 2) no step to enter, its a tripping hazard; 3) rooms should be equipped with iron and ironing board. The water pressure should be checked, did not have hot water a night for the duration of my stay.||In terms of the exterior, the building needs to be powerwashed and more flowers for curb appeal.
The lobby is freezing cold. The staffs are friendly. The check-in wait time was about 20 minutes because there was only one front desk staff and the group before us spent too much time. The room is decent and clean. Love the balcony and direct access to the beach. The pool is kinda small, but they have two pools.
THE GOOD: Rooms are amazing. Pool is small but great. Bar and staff are very attentive, even serve drinks and food on the beach. THE BAD: current construction next door with jackhammers going constantly from 9am to 3-4 pm. We ended up moving from pool to beachside cabana, but the noise was still there. We stayed Monday and Tuesday. Once that’s complete I’d give the place a solid 5 stars. Just be prepared. I’m sure the weekends are much better.
If you enjoy the thrill of paying premium prices for the privilege of being nickel-and-dimed, Hilton Cabana is waiting for you. Do yourself a favor and reject any room ending in "06" immediately. It’s a viewless shoebox that no status-holding member should ever be subjected to. We had to stage a minor protest to get moved to a room that didn't feel like a walk-in closet, which is exactly how I love starting a vacation. Once you’re settled, perform a formal inspection: check if the phone actually works and pray you like your showers at a permanent "molten lava" setting, because the temperature dial apparently only moves in one direction—up. The logistics are equally adventurous. If there’s another car in the driveway when you arrive, don’t expect the valet to move it; you’re better off set
Sergaud Breakfast. I highly recommend the Hilton Cabana breakfasts, both sweet and classic. The service is excellent and the food is delicious. As for the hotel, like most on the beachfront, it's showing its age. It's clearly been renovated, especially in the lobby and conference area. Unfortunately, the rooms are small compared to my experience with Hilton hotels. Another plus is the two swimming pools (near the beach entrance and on the third floor), which keep it from getting crowded. We spent five nights here. Overall positive impressions.
