Hilton Bentley Miami/South Beach

Front desk check-in was super friendly and I was offered a downgrade for a very early check-in. Fine by me since it was a free night award anyway. Beach club situation is really great. Pool is meh, and service at the pool was…uncomfortable? Everyone seemed miserable. Drinks from the bar were pretty mid at best. Santorini was halfway decent. Not sure who is writing these glowing reviews of it. I tried a bunch of things and it was maybe 40% good, the rest was just ok. Again, service and cocktails were not great. The room was impressive on first glance, especially for a standard room. WiFi is spotty, shower head was really sad compared to the rest of a nice bathroom. Coffee maker is pretty sad too. Not our first time at this beautiful hotel. Location is perfect situated right on the best part of Miami beach. Cleanliness is one of the best there is in the area, elevators are super nice. Décor is ideal not too loud but affluent. André Deliz at front desk tops it all with his professional attitude and dedication. Greek restaurant on site is really good, good service, reasonable prices. Greek lady owner highly professional lady keeps track of her repeat customers and continuous checking on them. I will return to Hilton Miami Bentley South beach and recommend those who are discerning to follow my recommendation.

Positive: Rooms and beach service was nice. We dined at the hotel restaurant and walked to several others. Negative: In room Internet service was very limited or non existent. We had to go to the lobby to connect and maintain a connection. Very inconvenient, staff apologized but no solutions were offered other than stay in the lobby.

Nice stay overall, but not quite the Diamond-level experience I expected. I arrived with Hilton Diamond status hoping for early check-in, an upgrade, or late checkout, unfortunately none were available. Pros: The beach is beautiful and definitely the highlight. Most of the staff were kind and welcoming, especially the bell team and restaurant staff. The fitness studio is a nice bonus, and the women’s side even has a sauna inside, which I loved. Cons: If you’re in the West Wing (which seems to be a large portion of the rooms), getting to your room is a bit of a trek, the hot tub is TINY. Also, the check-in staff were unwelcoming, like it was an inconvenience to be there, but hey, you do get two bottles of water at check-in… so there’s that. We are wrapping up yet another fabulous stay at the Hilton Bentley Miami/South beach. The resort is in an excellent location, far enough south from the craziness of the main Ocean Drive drag, yet still walkable to just about anything you'd want to do in South Beach. What puts this hotel into the top echelon is the unparalleled customer service - when we stay here we are greeted as though we are friends or family returning home. Henry is a shining star as is Joel in concierge and many of the other front desk staff. We also love the onsite restaurant Santorini - great food and value with big portions and an excellent happy hour. Staying here is always a highlight of our year and we look forward to returning again soon!
