Hilltop Motel

Over a 21 day trip, this was one of the high-lights of our accommodation. We had no reservation but simply dropped in. We tracked down the hard-working owner who was cleaning rooms and she made us feel like family. She showed us the room first, told us about the area, and almost had to be reminded that we needed to check-in and pay her. The room rate was extremely reasonable for the very clean and modern room we were assigned. Our only criticism might be the rather small bathroom. But everything else was splendid including fresh crisp sheets on the welcoming bed, thick towels, and all the appliances you would need. The bathroom even has a whirlpool tub to massage away those long drive days, When the owner spotted us sitting on the nice benches in front our room, she invited us to move to

The rooms are nostalgic, very clean! Cozy cabin like feel, with quilts on the beds. The gentleman that runs it was friendly and kind as can be. He also suggested a restaurant for us to dine at which we could get an awesome steak that would melt in your mouth, and he wasn't wrong. He had us try the Pizza Barn. Really enjoyed our stay.

We pulled in late. The owner greeted us. She showed us our room. The room looked brand new and to say the least very clean. We had everything we needed. So the stay for myself, my mom and my son was awesome. Oh and to top that off on the front lawn 3 deer stayed the night.

What an amazing find! This Motel has been completely remodeled right down to the electrical, HVAC and plumbing! Everything is new! Even the finest details are meticulously done, right down to the grout, caulking and all doors have been replaced so everything functions perfectly. The deep jetted tub was a unexpected bonus, the quality towels and comfy bed were much appreciated. You can tell when a motel owner understands what they provide is a direct reflection upon themselves and how much they care.

We stopped here traveling from ND to CO for the night and couldn’t have been happier. These rooms are updated and very clean. The bathroom had a jet tub which the kids loved. The owner was beyond gracious to our family. We will stay here again.
