We didn’t want to spend a lot of money, just needed a clean comfortable room to sleep, and this was perfect. Great location, plenty of restaurants very close by. Host brought over an extra blanket quickly when we asked for that. Would stay here again.

Small, older motel but our room was clean and comfortable. The young lady cleaning rooms was friendly and quick to bring us extra towels when we requested them. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again when in the area.

Avoid at All Costs - Unsafe and Unsanitary My recent stay at Hilltop Lodge & Cabins in International Falls was a complete nightmare. I would strongly advise anyone considering this place to look elsewhere. From the moment I opened the door to my room, I was hit with an overwhelming damp, musty smell. It was immediately clear this wasn't just a lack of airing out; the floors were actually wet and squishy underfoot. Not only was there visible mold growing, but the bathroom door itself was so swollen with moisture that it wouldn't even close properly. It's not just unpleasant; it's a serious health concern. The issues didn't stop there. The room had a broken window, the covering on the ceiling was hanging down, looking like it could continue to get worse, Drywall or plaster dust falling fr

Location was good but man.. the room we stayed in wasn’t the most comfortable. There was a crazy bug repellant and chemical smell when we first walked into the room. It was so strong we had to air out the room and spray our own fabreeze. There was peeling paint and sheet rock in the bathroom. They tried to epoxy the bathroom floor over vinyl, so it did not set right and it sticks to your feet a little. The bathroom shower wall was very warped from water damage and there was hardly any caulking in the bathtub, so if you were to shower or bathe, it would probably create more water damage problems for them. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Just returned from a delightful three-day stay at this fabulous small hotel, it was comfortable and inviting.The bed and bathroom were spotless. The location? Perfect! Close to all sorts of businesses. Quick tip to the management: if you're listening, vertical storage would be a game-changer! Goodbye wide coffee table, hello room to 3 or 4 shelving rack. A square or rectangular dining table would give more space to accommodate personal items. Shoutout to the cleaning lady, too! She was amicable and knowledgeable about the town/park. All in all, this hotel delivered comfort and joy, and I’d absolutely stay here again!
