Hillside Hideaway Cabin - Red River Gorge Cabin Rentals

I recommend staying here! Incredible cabin and good price. Driveway is a bit treacherous haha. I made it up in my Toyota Corolla but it's rough. You need to use the Wild things parking lot as a runway and build up speed and hit the driveway going fast and DO NOT LET OFF THE GAS UNTIL YOU ARE PARKING. I had the pedal on the floor the whole way up.

Overall this is a nice place. Beautiful setting and a lot of space. However, there are some things in need of repair. One of the dining chairs and rocking chairs were broken but it was not apparent until we sat in them. The kitchen sink and shower faucets were broken but worked with some figuring out. The white outdoor couch is moldy. As far as needing a 4 wheel drive, we made it up the hill in a GMC Acadia but it took a skilled driver.

The cabin is nice and roomy. The only catch is the gravel driveway that is too steep for most vehicles. 4WD is recommended. We parked at the bottom and walked up and down.

The cabin is very nice! Great views and plenty of room for multiple people. The only negative is the gravel road you have to take to get there. YOU NEED 4 WHEEL DRIVE.

Great cabin! Easy to get to with the right vehicle.
