Hill Country Inn & Suites

I reserved a room thru booking.com. When I arrived, the night attendee was very nice. She was going to book us on the 2nd floor but my husband can't do stairs or walk well. When I said he was handicapped, she not only changed our rooms but went out of her way to put us in a room with no neighbors. The beds aren't the most comfortable bc they're thinner than what I'm used to. Microwave and fridge are in the room.

My expectations, honestly, were somewhat low, but the reviews convinced my to try. I'm glad I did. The room is of and adequate size and the room interior, except for the bathtub, has been nicely updated. The shower head was good and adjustable and the bed was comfortable. Staff was very kind and helpful. Cleanliness was B+. It's thoroughly clean but and older property is just that, older and remains "less than due to age." Still I'm very happy to have found Super 8 in Copperas Cove because I plan on visiting this area often. Don't expect a 4-star experience. You CAN expect a decently cared for property, responsive staff and comfy beds.

My son got locked in the bathroom when he went to take a shower. Found out the manager had already told the owner about the issue, but he neglected to fix it. A/C didn't cool the room. It was blowing cold air, but did not cool the room at all. They tried to move us to a different room, AC didn't work in there either. Third room smelled heavily of smoke. Ended up going to a different hotel.

I had to ask to be put in another room cause the first one had water in the floor and the lock was broken on the door. I got to the other room and the lock was broken as well. There was boot marks on the floor so it clearly wasn't cleaned afterwards. There was cigarettes underneath the bed along with some plastic silverware and other trash.
