Hidden Acres Family Campground

The first spot they assigned us to was full of ants and way up at the top of a hill. We talked to the front office staff and they gave us a couple other spots to chose from. Beautiful river (Quinebaug River) runs right next to the park. Laundry room was clean. They also have a place where you can order food and sit outside and eat. The park has a lot of full time residents (who also helped us find our way around the park.) We stayed here in our travel trailer.

Wonderful family campground! This was our first time at Hidden Acres. We had a site right on the river which was beautiful. The staff was very friendly. The grounds, bathrooms and showers were spotless. Lots of activities. Just a great place! We will definitely be back!

It's my fourth year renting a cabin for a week for "Grammy Camp" and I can hardly imagine spending my one vacation per year anywhere else with my two grandchildren. We have stayed in all three of the cabins, which have all the necessities of home and are so charming and cozy. Every year, I return to find clever, new upgrades to the property, which is always beautifully and lovingly kept. Staff are friendly and accommodating while offering unique and memorable activities that my grandchildren talk about all year. There is so much to do that we never get to do it all. Seven years ago, I started as a tent camper, and I hope one day to have a seasonal trailer there. Hidden Acres is a little taste of heaven on earth that will always have an important place in my heart.

Great campground for family. All sites have electric and water. Some have sewer. Pump out service available if needed. Grounds are very well maintained. Bathrooms and shower are always clean. Kid and dog friendly. Beautiful sites on the river. I stayed there 3 weeks and loved every minute. Hopefully I can do it again next year.

We spent a week at Hidden Acres for our family vacation from Pennsylvania and it was wonderful!! Staff was so kind and friendly. We had a beautiful site on the river. The bathrooms were all conveniently located and very clean. We spent most of our time in Mystic which was a nice 30 minute drive. We did not participate in the activities or swim in the pool but there seemed like a lot to do. Even when it was full it was still always quiet and peaceful. This was by far our favorite campground that we have ever been too.
