I first took my wife here as a surprise for Valentine's Day, but we've also spent our wedding anniversary (Halloween) and now Christmas at this stunning location! Carol and Ted, along with Nellie and the rest of the staff will make your stay unforgettable and they set the bar over the top for guest service! The breakfast conversation is incredible, and a true gem added to the experience. We've heard countless stories from Carol and Ted about their lives and also their experiences on the property; but you also get to bond with strangers over breakfast which is a beautiful thing with the world the way it is now. Lovely place located in a beautiful area. I loved meeting all the different people who pass through here and the history and care put into the inn is evident. Carol was very accommodating for both our vegetarian diet and our child being with us. It felt like staying with family.

We had a wonderful one-night stay at this wonderful B&B. We did not encounter any spirits, maybe next time. The breakfast was superb, and hand made by the owners, whom we had the pleasure of sitting with for breakfast. They also offer snacks and beer & wine when you arrive, which we did not partake in, but was there if we wanted it. We would definitely stay again.

We absolutely loved our stay. Carol and Teddy are great hosts. Breakfast and chats in the morning was great before leaving. Beware of little scrappy the adorable little dog who thinks he’s much bigger than he is :). We loved our stay here and would come back again.

What a wonderful gem!💎 Just a quick overnight for a concert at Mohegan Sun(5 minutes away)and a matinee the next day at the Goodspeed Opera House....such a remarkable stay. So much history and it's haunted!👻 I was so surprised when I heard kids down the hall when we returned from the concert....at breakfast the only other guests (adults) were staying on the 1st floor ....we were the only guests on the 2nd floor!!😱😱😱 The innkeepers are awesome, breakfast was wonderful, cookies and wine all day in the dining room, comfy bed and sherry in our room! Can't wait to come back!
