Hickory Hills Campground

Owners seem very money hungry and unforgiving if you second guess their judgement. Be prepared to have neighbors from Texas that have trucks run the gate to “buy propane.” The guys in the truck “did not look” like we’re are on methanphetamine with tinted windows and a blacked out license plate, as the owner, J, let them come and go as they pleased. Low trust for my kids here. Be prepared for your camper to smell like sewage as well as it was never addressed when they bought the campground. Also, if your camper is older than 10 years old you’re not worthy.

No wifi, as was promised on website. No one was here during biz hours - we wanted to check in in person, not online. They need notice . We were checked in online by the woman running it. Charged a fee for that. Waste hole is not flush to the ground. Looks like it’s got a lot of regulars, including blaring music guy . It’s a fine place other than that- $58 for off the beaten path and not convenient or as website promotes

Great campground out in the country in Twin Lakes , great owners !! There's a huge playground for kids and a swimming pool.

My man called to schedule a few nights for a tent set up and Jason was very rude stating he wasn’t near the computer and wasn’t going to check how much a one night stay would be. He proceeded to say he didn’t think he could get us in that night and wasn’t going to check for it. I Will not ever stay here.

We recently stayed at Hickory Hills Campground for a night while traveling home from a trip out west. We did this last year also and were excited to go back. The owner, Jennifer, and her family could not be more kind and welcoming. We had a lovely quiet night under the beautiful Minnesota stars. My husband also enjoyed a relaxing swim in the pool after a lot of long driving days. Hickory Hills is a place we would return to again and again. Thanks for the hospitality.
