Econo Lodge

The staff is very friendly, helpful at checkout, especially. And since I had shown up at motel six with a prepaid room, to be told they had no rooms, I appreciate them getting me in quickly.||That being said, the room to be polite, left a little to be desired. Doors were narrow, an ambulance crew would have a heck of a time getting in and out. Bathtub dripped, 2 to 3 gnats flying around, not enough to make you sick but enough to be annoying. And the sheets wouldn’t stay on the bed and I’ll keep out with the mattress look like. Essentially, it could use a remodel, but for the price, I guess beggars can’t be choosers.

Hotel is behind Quality Inn and shares the premises and the building. Separate check-in desks for Quality Inn and Ecolodge. I couldn't understand this. The rooms were the smaller than average size and not clean. Ant=line forming near bathroom entrance. Breakfast was served in Room 150 for some reason and was extremely basic. I had to walk all the way to reception to request them to refill bread slices after Reception didn't answer to my call made from room. The staff didn't smile at all and didn't recognize us as "Choice Plus" member. This was the basic thing done in most Ecolodge or Quality Inn hotels. Not a very enjoyable experience in short.

This place is a dump. The carpet in the hallways and our room was stained, the beds were shot, the pillows unusable. There were some shady characters in the rooms adjacent to ours, including a family of eight ( in one room) with two dogs who barked loudly. The lady at the check in ( shared lobby with another hotel) handwrote the wing password for the Wi-Fi, and misspoke several times when giving us our room number and other info. Breakfast is included but there is virtually nothing other than kids cereal, some white starchy English muffins, and coffee. No coffee maker in the room. The whole place felt extremely dirty.

The staff go in the room when I was away a they were going through my stuff, I bought them on camera. They turn off the power an heat to their advantage a blame it on the hotel when it’s them doing it. An when confronted bout going through my things they denied it until I showed the video, an the people still work there.

Genuinely the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. These bad reviews are not lying! The staff do not care about your stay and are obviously just there to get a paycheck. Rooms are actually disgusting. The people at the front desk were most of the time never there. Hey do you like do use clean towels? Guess what… they don’t have them!! Actually surprising how this is still open and have never been so disappointed and sad on how I spent me money then here. I mean, we figured we’d get what we paid for… but right now it seems like I should’ve paid a dollar and a high five. I’m sure nobody from Econo lodge will check these reviews for 6 months (just like their voicemail), but I want to let anybody know that is trying to stay here… DONT!!!! IT IS THE WORST!
