Henn na Hotel New York

I will come back to the Henn Na Hotel! I arrived in the dark so I couldn’t appreciate the location and surroundings until daylight. The hotel is tall and narrow. My friend and I were on the 9th floor. SO nice that only six rooms on that floor. Very quiet. The futon style bed was very comfortable and the pillows were just soft enough. The room was large and I appreciated having the electric tea kettle. When I arrived (the night before my friend) there was no bath mat or belts for the robes. I left a note for housekeeping when I went out and everything was taken care of when I returned. The hotel staff were friendly and attentive. I also love the location - very close to 34th Penn Station subway and easy to get places and back.

Positive: Location, Cleanliness, Proximity to amenities Negative: The adjacent building had sewerage smell in the morning which sometimes I felt in room.

Our stay was absolutely amazing! From the moment we checked in, the staff was welcoming, friendly, and incredibly helpful. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and super comfy — especially the bed! We slept so well and felt completely relaxed the entire time. The location was perfect — close to everything we needed, including shops, restaurants, and all the train stations, which made getting around so easy and stress-free. And the dinosaur in the lobby completely sealed the deal for our kids! They were so excited every time we walked in, and it made the stay even more memorable for our whole family. We had a great time here. Unfortunately the water heater broke down and we had to take cold showers on two of the five days we stayed here. But the hotel proactively refunded the room rate for one of those nights. We’ll definitely choose the place again for its cleanliness and convenience if we had to go back to NYC again.

This was my first time staying at Henn na Hotel and I really enjoyed it. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and easy to check into. The location is super convenient — just a short walk to Liberty Bagels, the Javits Convention Center, and the subway. Big shoutout to Jennifer for her amazing customer service and hospitality. She was so friendly and helpful and really made my stay better. Also, definitely book direct for a great price and their loyalty program. I’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting NYC! Tip: 8th floor has the filtered water free. 1705
