Helming Guest House

We loved our stay at the Helming guest house! It was so nice! Seriously 1 min walk to town and the most amazing front porch view of the river! The owner let us check in early and was responsive to our questions. The house is stocked with everything you would need for a comfortable stay! We will be back!

We spent this past weekend at Helming House and really enjoyed our stay. House was very clean and cozy. The front porch had a great view of the Missouri river and the courthouse. Only little problem was no soap or shampoo in the shower. Luckily one of us had brought some. Also, there were too many plugin scents that we unplugged because of allergies in our group.

Great service as we called to book last minute. The location was great for coming in from the Katy, and amenities were well considered and comfortable. I would book again if we were back in this area

My husband and I went for a wine trail weekend and this house was perfect! Super charming cottage feel! Very clean and had everything we needed and wanted (wifi, TV, DVD, full kitchen, full bath, ceiling fans, etc.) right on Missouri River and literally 2 blocks from trolley station, restaurants and bars!! We will definitely be back!!

Rented this house last week with some friends. It was a cute house. There is only 1 bathroom which was disappointing and there was no soap in the house other than liquid dish soap. Luckily there are plenty of places to purchase soap in town. There is a king bed in the attic and a queen on the main level. The owner was nice enough to let us keep our luggage in the house on our last day (train did not leave until 5) while we did more winery visits.
