Heber Valley Camp

This area, which is part of the Timber Lakes region, has been identified as one of the top places in the nation for a devastating landslide! If any precautions are being taken or not, the families should be fully informed. Even if lives are spared, roads may be blocked, putting campers at risk. This is not a critique at the owners, perhaps they didn't know about the risk--it's only been identified recently. Otherwise two stars for the beautiful setting.

The Heber Valley Camp is a unique experience. While my attendance was in relation to duties to help the Young Women attending their yearly camp, there are many family and group opportunities on weekends and during the off-season. Because this camp is Church owned, it is necessary to abide by the standards of the Church during your visit. Hiking, nature, the great outdoors, and various activities are all part of the experience with first class facilities to support the needs of your family or group.

We did the night walk last night and it was incredible. The effort and creativity for this program was beyond any expectation I had. Most of us were teary eyed as we finished the trail. I think this experience will stay with the youth AND adults for life. The missionaries that helped were amazing and super warm and friendly.

Heber Valley Camp is amazing! The girls in our ward love to stay here. They have strengthened their testimonies being here. I love this place! The Faith walk was life changing! I will never forget it.

It was amazing. The missionaries were very kind and helpful. The activities were so fun.I loved the tomahawk toss.The faith walk was an experience I will cherish forever and ever. Lots of wildlife such as a badger and lots of deer and "flamingos."This is a great experience. If you get the opportunity to participate, you will be amazed.
