Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Lubbock

The first impression walking into this hotel is really good- bright, clean, modern. Friendly staff. The room was really large, modern, colorful and clean. Very close to Covenant Hospital, which was what we needed. We liked the toiletries in the bathroom. Breakfast was tasty and had a variety of choices Very good at a reasonable price. A few things that need improving: 1.the bed was comfortable, but was on a metal foundation with metal supports, so it made a clanging sound every time we moved. 2. There should be separate floors or wings for pets vs no pets. I am allergic to cats and dogs and need to stay in a pet free room. Since I don't travel with pets, the lonely pup next door barking and whining until his owner returned was bothersome (while I was trying to sleep). Turning th

Hawthorn was average, I don't like average, yet there was nowhere better to stay after 6 hours on the road. I'm not going to complain about most of the stay, as I believe they try to facilitate those who come here:|1. There were no shower bars in the bathroom or most importantly, in the shower (bathtub), the floor of the show is slipper, the water comes out in a fine mist, you can try to adjust it, though the shower-head adjustment really doesn't work, and no matter how you arrange the curtain, the bathroom floor is gonna get really wet, there's no place to hang you towel within reach of the shower, which ment we had to exit shower onto the wet floor grab our towels and dry off in the chilled air. The second night I called to my husband to hand me a towel.|2. The television is made by Phil

Positive: I like that the hotel had several amenities; indoor pool with hot tub, small bar, breakfast bar and pets are welcome. The rooms were spacious. Negative: The shower heads do not work that good. The pool area had no restrooms nearby; they are across the hall. The kitchenette area in our room had nothing stocked. Our room key had to get replaced every day and would not work on certain entry doors.

We had the absolute best experience here the room was perfect. It was so clean. Beds were comfortable towels were clean bath was clean sheets were clean and after The night we had before this one at a different hotel Hawthorne definitely deserves more than five stars. The man at the front desk was absolutely amazing. He was very attentive to our concerns when we walked in. He made sure our needs were met. I will stay here forever now because of this.

Overall, this is a really great hotel especially for the price of the pool Is excellent and the spa is very nice as well. Breakfast is very good and there’s a good selection of items to choose from both hot and cold as well as with drinks and coffee They do have a bar, but it seems to close early quite often. The only complaint I really have is with one of the days we had stayed there I was told I was not allowed to have drinks near the poor spa which OK I apologize for, but then a group of people came in and we’re not only drinking in the spa but we’re half naked showing a little too much a lot too much especially for there being so many children in the pool area and in the spa, which was really disrespectful and nothing was ever told to them and to make things Even worse, they left thei
