Happy Trails RV Park

The sites are spacious! We are able to fit our truck, 46 foot 5th wheel and our SVU in the lot with room to spare!!! The sites come equipped with a picnic table and fire pit!! They offer free firewood when available! The hosts Mrs. Debbie and Mr Charlie are an absolute delight!! Mr. Charlie met us at our site to ensure we didn’t have any issues setting up! Mind you we didn’t arrive until after dark! He offered to help us literally set up (plug in cords, hook up hoses and stabilize our rig) along with tips and tricks! He made sure we were inside our RV before leaving us! Him and his wife both made sure we had the WIFI password before we headed in for the evening! Charlie and Debbie have a loving passion for this campground! They live here, they love here! It is well thoughtout in it's layout. We thoroughly loved our relaxing time here and will come back for more time in this peaceful setting. The full hook ups and excellent wi-fi is a great bonus! Come and give it a try and don't miss an opportunity to meet the owners, you'll be glad you did!

Charlie and Debbie are a hoot, and the owners of the campgrounds. It's a very new campgrounds w/very large full hookup lots. There's a Dollar General store right next door, and not far from town. Charlie and Debbie plan on building a laundry room and a arts and crafts building, but for now the area is pretty wide open for walking around the grounds; very pet friendly, can't beat the price. We're going back in the Spring, it's open year round.

There can't be enough good things said about this campground. They offer nightly and monthly rental. The couple that own it live on site and take extreme pride in it. It is relatively new so they are still working on it adding some sites and amenities. Most sites have trees and shade and are much more reasonably spaced than many of the truckstop/parking lot style "RV Resorts" at a fraction of the cost. They have full hookups and even free firewood on site. Excellent Wi-Fi was one of their primary concerns especially for those who may be traveling for work and they have succeeded. Currently staying in this park for 3 days. Very close to mammoth cave and stores close by. In the campground they have wide and huge level sites (back in and pull through). Owners are very friendly. Looks like its a brand new park, with more sites to come. Big rig friendly. Very clean. Each site has a nice picnick table and fire pit. They do offer wifi here, but we use starlink. Only down fall that i hope they get to in the future, a laundry room on site, but other than that this campground is perfect in my opinion.
