Customer Reviews
Our family of 5 stayed in cabin #3 (Hickory Nut) with another family. The cabin is very spacious with 2 lofts and a bedroom and sleeper sofa. The new owner was great. The kids were riding their ATV near the cabin and he asked them to stop but instead cut them a track out of tall grass in a field on the property, which they loved (and other kids staying at the campground too). We ran out of towels and they gave us more. He was also very helpful with directions in the trail system. The property has a nice creek the kids loved and you can hop right onto the trails straight from the campground. The trails are also amazing! We will certainly be back!
Stayed 2 nights here. Even though we picked a weekend when it was raining, we still had the best time. The cabins were very clean and had all the conveniences of home. The new owner Darren, was very attentive and always asked if we needed anything. The trails were a little wet, and in my opinion, made for a better ride. We will definitely be back again!!
Nice place to go ride 4 wheelers. So many different trails to ride. Scenery is awesome! Creeks with cool water streaming down from the mountains. Trails were nice as you could see mountains far off and close. Beautiful nature rides. There's no slabs to park your RV or camper, the parking spots are on grass. It's a small stream running behind the lots. You may even see a raccoon come right up to the campsite. Nice place to build a campfire, cook out and sit and visit or even meet new campers. They do have a wash house which is nice. You can get all the dirt and mud off of you. They don't have a store on the site but there's some not to far away.
We stayed at Hanson’s for a week and absolutely loved it. The cabins are great and the RV sites are spacious. The creek behind them is a huge plus. We loved that cabins and campsites all have fire pits! The picnic table at the cabin was nice to sit around for dinner. The owner was great and gave us some great suggestions. We have already told many friends about this place and can’t wait to go back! Our kids didn’t want to leave and begged us to extend our trip a couple of more days but work commitments stopped that. We highly recommend this place! It’s clean and close to the trails! The cabins are spaced out great!!
The paved road leading up to the campground was nice and smooth. ||The cabin was really clean and had a full kitchen, and shower tub. Our cabin had a fire pit and a picnic table, and satellite television . Plenty of room in between the cabins so that you had some privacy even when the other cabins were occupied. Down the hill from the cabins close to the entrance there are RV spots along a small creek the RV spots were nicely mowed and looks like they have plenty of room in between RVs so that you’re not squished together. Even the bathhouse for the RV sites were really clean.
