Excellent small cabins perfect for a couple with a kid or two. Owners are awesome. And with a 15 or so minute ride you access to wolf pen gap along with many other trails to ride. Quick access to Bee Mountain.

I really hate to let everyone know about this fabulous place overlooking the Ouachita National Forest....it will be harder for us to get a reservation! Owned by Graydon Clark and run by his son Robert Clark, Backwoods Lodge and Cabins is also Mudchurn Outfitters/Ranch. This place is one of the cleanest, well-kept places I have had the opportunity to stay at. Mr. Clark owns approximately 48 acres in the Ouachita National Forest and along with his son has built one nice 4 bedroom/4 bath lodge called The Lodge. At $250 a night, if you had 3 other couples going with you this spacious lodge is very affordable with plenty of ATV trails to keep you busy for days. The Lodge has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths downstairs along with a good sized kitchen/dining room and a relaxing living with satelite TV. Ups

Beautiful cabin overlooking the Ouachita National Forest! Very clean and quiet and the owner was very helpful on local “must sees”! Will definitely visit again.

Awesome owners (Rob & Tamyra). Personable, friendly, funny, accomodating the list is endless. The lodge and cabins were outstanding and reasonably priced. Thank you and DJ Daniel Ray for making Susan and my stay on our special day very memorable. We are happy to have met ya'll and call you our new friends. We highly reccommend a stay.

Stayed in one of only 2 cabins on the property, these are one room maybe 12 X 20 but was a fantastic layout for 2 adults and our 3 kids. Bathroom w/ shower, kitchen with sink toaster, mini fridge, coffee pot & microwave, no stove but took crockpot & electric skillet. Main area had double bed, futon & table. Big covered porch with charcoal grill. Beautiful sunsets overlooking mountains and forests. Chose this place because is has direct access to ATV trails. So we could park, unload, unpack and ride. A 40 minute ATV ride through forest trails takes you directly to Wolf Pen Gap. But there are so many trails along the way you could spend days exploring. Robert(owner) was very friendly and helpful. Will be returning soon.
