Hampton Inn Victoria

As context, this was the next-to-last of a three-week trip in Texas where we stayed 17 nights in Hamptons literally around the state. This place was not up to current Hampton standards. The gym was half the size and equipment we have come to expect, and two of four aerobic machines were broken. The breakfast was only half filled in the morning like they were not expecting anyone to really eat it. The bathroom door barely closed over a buckled tile floor, and the sink, while it didn't leak, was missing almost half of the drain edge. A plus is that this place was one of only two Hamptons (out of 17) that had a credit card operated washer and dryer, though only one of each. I note that about a third of the Hamptons were under remodeling, and this one was not and still the worst.

We hosted a baby shower in their meeting space, and it was absolutely perfect! The room was spacious and worked wonderfully for the occasion. Ms. Regina was so helpful throughout the booking process, and the staff as a whole was fantastic. Both the interior and exterior of the hotel were clean and well maintained. Highly recommend!

Older Hotel. Room smell like mold! Absolutely not up to Hilton standard. Sheets and pillows all felt damp making for a awful night's sleep. AC unit ran constantly! Would never shut off no matter what you set the temperature. Do yourself a favor and find another place to stay.

Positive: The front desk staff and custodial crew were kind and friendly. Mostly clean (room, halls, etc). Negative: Breakfast was old, out, stale, and cold, just not kept well. The blankets had stains on them. The inside of the building needed some upkeep.

I am extremely frustrated and honestly disgusted by my experience at this hotel. I stayed for just one night, and from the moment I entered the room, it was visibly unclean. There were noticeable stains on both the carpet and the sofa bed. I initially overlooked it since I was only there for one night and planned to work at the desk before going straight to bed. However, when I got into bed, I discovered numerous stains on the bedding. When I pulled back the sheets, the stains went all the way through to the mattress protector. I called the front desk, and they told me I could come downstairs to pick up new sheets and make my own bed — which I politely declined since it was almost 11pm.
