Hampton Inn & Suites New Braunfels

We used to stay at this hotel a few years back and haven't been in the area since. We decided to try it again on our recent trip this past weekend. I read the reviews and it sounded like construction was still going on for their renovation. I called the hotel and was informed the renovations on the rooms were complete. On our visit, there was no evidence of any construction. It appeared to be complete. They did a good job on the rooms. Pretty much everything seemed new, except for the countertop in the King Suite. I would definitely stay here again.

Positive: New and clean, convenient location Negative: During our four-day stay, arrived late one evening to find housekeeping had skipped our room. Beds were unmade, no fresh towels, etc. Breakfast was barely better than more affordable hotels. For $----+ per night, we expected more.

A very nice hotel, well kept. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom very clean. Had blackout shade for the window which was nice as not to fool with curtains. The shower was large and had all the soaps needed. The complementary breakfast was so good with a large variety of many tasty things. Will stay here again!

We had read mixed reviews so were pleasantly surprised! This Hampton Inn is great. Our room and all the public spaces were all renovated and in great shape. In particular our room was perfect - modernized and clean. The employees were friendly and we are looking forward to the next visit!

It is hard to get to as far as the entrance which makes it difficult at night. First room we were assigned was dirty but we got moved. GAEL at the front desk was simply amazing. Smiled when we checked in, quickly gave us a new room; pleasant as we walked in and out. Gave us a toothbrush as we forgot ours. Great customer service
