Hampton Inn & Suites Las Cruces I-25

Last minute reservation. We ask for feather free room and they took care of it timely. Room was clean and staff friendly. Standard high quality of Hampton Inn services. We needed pet friendly and generally it is. They allow dogs. There is just not much of a place to relieve their bowels. There is also limited parking, so arrive early. I really nice surprise was red velvet flavoring for the waffles.

At check-in, the agent told me that the hotel was under renovation. There is NO clearly visible mention of this on the brand website! ||I was not recognized as a Hilton Honors member, even though she looked up my number, so she clearly knew I was a member.||The ‘Welcome’ rug at the entrance was very dirty. The concrete at the entrance is stained / dirty. Plants in pots at the entrance are dead. ||The lights in the elevator had dead bugs. There was a paper sign taped to the elevator that got ‘crunched’ every time the door opened/closed. ||The front desk agents (evening and overnight) parked their vehicles under the porte cochere, which prevents guests from fully using this area to load/unload luggage.||The female front desk agent who checked me in had her white purse on the stool beh

Stayed for one night, 2/21/26. I came up from El Paso for the UTEP @ New Mexico State men's basketball game. The hotel is conveniently located only maybe two miles from the University. Everything about my stay was great: Extremely clean and large room, very comfortable and very large king bed, and the 50" flat screen TV worked great, with lots of channels. To top it off, the free breakfast was just outrageous: Country potatoes, scrambled eggs, sausage, muffins, bagels, toast, coffee, juices. I had two large platefuls which set me up perfectly for the morning drive back to El Paso. I'll be back!

We stayed here with 5 people (2 adults, 3 kids) and overall had a great stay. We actually stayed twice, once on Dec 28, 2025 and again on Jan 3, 26 and had the same experience both times. So, yay for consistency! The hotel was clean, the beds were comfy, and everything felt well cared for. That said, the room setup was a bit of a puzzle. There was no sofa bed or pull-out, which meant bedtime turned into a human Tetris situation. Three people in one bed, two in the other. Was it cozy? Yes. Was it ideal? Debatable. Did everyone survive? Also yes. Just thought it was interesting for a booking for 5 people, usually there's a pull out sofa. Now, breakfast. Breakfast deserves applause.
