Customer Reviews
We stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Fredericksburg for two nights, and overall the experience was mixed.||First, the bathroom in our room had a smell that was honestly unforgiving. We asked the front desk for help, and a staff member came up quickly. He was friendly, said he didn’t notice the smell, but still sprayed some kind of freshener. It helped a little, but the issue was still there.||The front desk staff were polite and helpful, but they definitely looked tired. Not rude—just visibly worn down, which you notice right away.||We brought our dog and paid the $75 pet fee. That part wasn’t too bad, but the room itself wasn’t very big, so having a dog made the space feel tight.||Breakfast was okay, especially considering it’s free. The waffle makers were nice, and the food tasted fi
Thankyou to front desk lady for letting us do an early check in after our vehicle broke down on my bday vacation. Also rooms were nice especially for an older hotel. We needed to leave our belongings downstairs after check out while we waited on the car to be ready and john was very nice and accommodating. Also housekeeping found some of our belongings in closet and we got a call to inform us of them as well. Very appreciative of everything these kind and understanding people did for us while we were there.
I found the property to be in a fantastic location, easily walkable to many shops and eating establishments. The GM, Arlene, is especially a joy. I enjoyed both my room and the exceptionally charming town that needs days to explore.
Great deal, beautiful third-floor view of the Hill Country. Location is excellent: two blocks to downtown shopping district. The Dollar Store across the street carries all your sundries (yes, even wine and beer). The little store behind the check in counter also had a decent assortment of sundries, quick bites, and red wine (no white). Housekeeping made up our room after only one day! Hooray! Breakfast buffet is outstanding compared to other places I've stayed post-covid, and it changed over the two days of our stay! Two flavors of waffle batter, scones, eggs, sausage patties, biscuits & gravy, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, fruit, and a nice assortment of toppings day 1, then country potatoes, tiny omelettes and link sausage day 2. I wish I'd brought an HDMI cable. The cable TV had neither
We scored a last minute reservation at this property. Check in was smooth and easy. Lobby was nice and clean. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Nice large parking lot. The fitness room was a bit disappointing. Breakfast was the typical Hampton Inn offerings. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Great location.
