Hampton Inn & Suites Ephrata - Mountain Springs

The first time we stayed here in 2024, it was fabulous. Excellent service, clean, amazing view from our room, and our kids love the pool. The second time in 2025 was not as great. My biggest problem was that they gave us the wrong room. We booked a King with a pullout so that our family of 5 could all fit. When we arrived they tried to put us in a room with just a King. I'm not sure where the check-in host thought we were all going to sleep, but he offered no solution as all the other Kings with pullouts were booked. I finally suggested a room with 2 Queens which was definitely not as comfortable, had a view of a wall, and was right next to the elevator which we could hear running all night. It was supposed to be a special family vacation to celebrate a birthday. An Airb &B travesty left us without somewhere to stay. We showed up to the hotel at. 5:30 PM. Jeff greeted us at the desk. I explained to him certain health issues we needed a room that did not have any odors. Richard walked us back to a room. It was just what we needed, room 103. We also needed another room for the rest of the family their room was on the 4 th floor with a great view. The rooms were wonderful Very clean. The staff was extremely friendly. The next morning we had the free breakfast. Patty did a wonderful job of maintaining the food area. Beds were super comfy, showers were hot and well pressurized, breakfast was delicious. The kids had the pool to themselves, Applebee's is a short walk away. Staff were so kind!! We almost didn't want to leave.

Now, I can't rate this property on the rooms as I didn't actually stay here. I *can* give my impressions and can review the breakfast, which I was invited out this morning to try. I went this morning to try the breakfast at the Hampton Inn Mountain Springs in Ephrata. It's located at 380 E Main St, Ephrata, PA 17522. If you have family or friends coming to the area, it seems like a nice place to stay. They have a cozy breakfast area, right next to the check in area. They have most of the items that you would expect: eggs, cereal, fruit, and waffles. Each month, they have a different waffle! Last month's was churro, this month's were cinnamon and vanilla. They do Red Velvet and chocolate in February. Fun! I also liked that they had different toppings that you can add to waffles and oatm
