Hampton Inn & Suites Birmingham-Pelham (I-65)

Front desk girl was nice and welcoming (Brooke) but the room was in a poor shape. Shower slide door does not close and rolls fully open so you are going to get wet floor when you shower. Funny enough the other half of the door does not move at all. Someone caulked it in couple spots. Tiles in the bathroom and outside miss grout and pop when you walk over them. Cover on the AC unit fallen off.. Disgusting couch with lot of stains. This place is run down like old motel.

Positive: Very friendly staff and very clean hotel. The free breakfast was a perk as well Negative: They were working on floors, which caused noise disturbance. They should have advised about that

This place stunk, rented the room for one night. Looked clean but smelled awful. The over night guy was high as a kite and to ignorant to answer any questions. But the morning guy was very respectful. We stayed on the 3rd floor. They have a mini fridge and bathroom amenities. But the blankets and bed just smelled sour

We stayed here for a layover night on a 15 hour drive. We picked a cheap hotel outside of Birmingham just to get there at 5pm and leave at 9am the next morning. The smell hits you like a brick when you first get in the room. It’s worse than a Hampton inn in downtown Charleston wv. The room was not very clean at all. I did not sleep under the covers as I had no trust in the beds. It did not smell or seem clean like usual hotel rooms. There were dirty socks on the floor of the room just left behind. The main entrance area and food area was 100000 times cleaner than the room. You also had to get in the hotel and room by something on your phone. The hotel breakfast and cheap price is what gives this hotel 2 stars. Other than that, you can find a better hotel.

Little odd on how you get into the hotel but not their fault . Room was beautiful. Bed was hard. I pulled up the sheet expecting to find that I was laying on plywood.Breakfast was great. Easy check in and out. Staff was friendly
