Best Western Plus Oak Mountain Inn

My husband and I loved this hotel! The staff are amazing and such sweet people! The rooms are great and very clean, the beds are very comfortable, and the hotel feels very safe. The location is gorgeous and so close to the park it’s also right beside an awesome barbecue place! My favorite was the breakfast and their great coffee maker it had so many options! Free water and coffee 24/7. My only complaint is the keycards, but they assured us the system was old and they’re updating it. Next time we stay in the area we’re definitely gonna want to stay here again!

Room 310 was very clean and had plenty of room. The only complaint was the shower tub drain was extremely slow and backed up, and the shower valve sounded like a tea kettle. Breakfast was far better than expected. Often, hotel breakfast is woefully disappointing. This one exceded low expectations. Thank You. Incidentally, there was a group of obnoxiously loud/rude guests in the hallway in the early hours of the morning.

We have been stopping at this hotel every year for the last three years. The location is good for us on the way to Florida. However, this time when we stayed there, the continental breakfast was terrible! The gravy was too thick and too salty. The scrambled eggs were watery. The orange juice was nothing but water. The bananas were close to being rotten. The only thing I ate was a bagel with cream cheese. However, on the positive note, the bed was comfortable and I slept good.  C Walker 10/12/25

Very clean, the staff was friendly and welcoming. I used my Navy Federal points and this hotel was one of the recommended hotels. Did not disappoint! Easy access off of the interstate! Breakfast was actual breakfast with multiple options! I went to the Chris Brown concert and danced the night away. The hot shower and comfortable bed and pillows helped with the aches and pains of dancing. I would definitely stay here again without thinking twice!

Upon checking in we were given key cards that did not work in the door, resulting in my Thhusband having to walk around the front to let me in as we had already carried our bags up the step to the door. Unfortunately he took a serious fall in front of the hotel. |Thank goodness a guest checking in helped me get him up. He is 79 years old. His arm was bleeding badly but the front desk person said they had no medical supplies. Finally she did get a towel to wrap around his arm, We had to go to Walmart to get supplies. The front desk clerk said those keys don't work most of the time in that door. I asked why she gave them to us and she said it was protoco[. The next day we had to go to Urgent Care to get bleeding stopped and have since seen doctor for further care and may require Wou
