Hampton Inn & Suites Bakersfield/Hwy 58, CA

I wanna give a big shout out to Nick. Dude with long hair and a mustache. Hundreds of us wrestlers came in all rowdy and this guy was calm and collected and cool. Got us checked into our hotel rooms and gave us everything we needed. I asked a lot of questions, but he was very patient and professional!I love this hotel. The breakfast is amazing! And we ate dinner at Denny’s right next-door. Can’t say enough good about this place.

The parking lot is gated which made us feel our vehicle was safer. Room was quiet, comfortable and clean. The bed was firm with fresh smelling sheets. Cookies available when you check in. Breakfast was plentiful and good - waffles, eggs, potatoes, toast, apples, oatmeal, cereals, juices and coffee. There’s a bar in the evenings and small gym. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Positive: close to hwy 58, so an easy on and off. Negative: chinese food didn't do doordash, pool hours too restrictive, wanted to swim early in the morning

I loved the hooks for hanging jackets. There is never enough space to hang towels etc. and the breakfast space. My husband loved the peloto & light roast coffee option. My boys enjoyed the waffle station. Secretly. the waffle station was also my favorite with fun toppings especially whipped cream. Conveniently located and near a Starbucks and other shops

So full disclosure I did not stop here, but I was passing through the area and I had just come from Utah and I needed to use the bathroom and the worst way this was the first place that felt safe and not sketchy that I came across in the area and so I stopped and asked if I could use the bathroom. The front desk clerk was extremely nice and very helpful. Let me use the bathroom. Everything was very clean and well taken care of and I appreciated that and also appreciated being able to use the bathroom.
