Hampton Inn Sheridan

We loved our free cookies when entering this expansive hotel. The people at the desk were so friendly. We enjoyed free hot breakfast for three mornings, had a beautiful suite where we could work, eat, and sleep. Close to the action and near the downtown Sheridan area.

Very modern and clean hotel with the standardHamptonamenities. The location is perfect as it sits on a hill with an amazing view of the Bighorn Mountains. Downtown Sheridan is within walking distance. I will definitely stay here again.

The rooms, location and decor are fantastic. Very quiet. I was very friendly to the front desk staff, but couldn't elicit a smile or any kindness. Only perfunctory responses.

Check in was very slow. Not sure what the problem was but it seemed to take her a very long time to find the reservation and then the keys to our room. I inquired about an upgrade but she said there were non available which is odd since the website showed I could have booked a suite right then and there at the front desk. We were not recognized as honors members. |It seems the free upgrade thing that Hilton advertises is basically a scam because I have only ever received that upgrade once in probably 75 Hilton stays the past few years.

We've stayed here several times before but this time was a disappointment. We arrived late in the evening after a long drive from Seattle so we were really tired & still had a long drive ahead of us the next morning, only to find our room hadn't been cleaned. Beds clearly slept in & towels on the bathroom floor. We were given another room on the 3rd floor with a very loud heater. The bathroom could use a good cleaning.
