Candlewood Suites Sheridan by IHG

The room we had smelled strongly of Fabuloso so badly that it caused me to get a migraine. The fumes were so strong that we had to turn on the bathroom fan, the kitchenette fan and keep the window open. Even after 24 hours, the smell was still strong. When I talked to the management, they said they often get complaints about the smell and that they can't do anything about it because it's the hotel "brand". Even if this is true, the fumes should not be so bad that it causes dizziness and extreme nausea.

The staff were great and made our stay very easy and comfortable. Was able to order a pizza and just relax and hang out this evening. Pet friendly too, but make sure your cat isn't like ours and hides under the bedside table. Watched Ghost Adventures on the tv before we continued our journey to Washington. Nothing but great things to say about this place.

Despite its relatively unimpressive location (right off interstate, looks on to the back of a warehouse of some sort) and its plain exterior, this hotel ended up being quite nice! Front desk staff was super friendly, hotel lobby was clean and welcoming. Our room was clean, large and well appointed. Beds very comfortable we slept great. Quiet, too. Would consider staying again when passing through Sheridan

The hotel is okay. The WiFi is horrible. You have to sign in everyday even though you’re staying multiple days. Plus the overall use of WiFi isn’t great. Constantly got kicked off or just simply didn’t work. Housekeeping comes once a week. Assuming they are trying to save money yet the prices haven’t changed. The staff get grumpy when you ask for housekeeping when it’s not your assigned day. The hot water in the shower is luke warm at best. Over all, the hotel is meh. I wouldn’t personally chose this hotel but it’s work so I have to be here.

Right off the highway, easy to access. Clean, affordable and our room had a whole kitchen area with it! We were impressed! Full sized fridge, dishwasher, sink, coffee pot, microwave, stove top with pots and pans. The microwave even had a popcorn bag for us to make! We only stayed one night but this would have been great for a multiple night stay if we wanted to make our own food!
