Hampton Inn Rolla

The day-to-day employees clearly care about the place, their jobs, and the customers. Very clean. LOVE that they take (and dote on) full-sized dogs. BUT, the folks in charge of maintenance certainly do not care even 25% as much, see photos. The first room we were in had actual ceiling plaster in the tub from water damage. They were truly sorry and gave us a new room with haste. I hope corporate gives them the help they need.

Positive: Location was right off I-44 we were stopping for the night Negative: We waited for 10 min for someone to come to the front desk to help us this was at 9:30 pm after a long drive . When she did arrive she told us she had to clean up vomit in the pool area ( so the recent going to the pool for a swim before bed ) !!!!

Checking in was great but that was the only part that was. I stayed in Room 210 and the the tub didn’t drain so while showering I stood in water over my feet. The heat did not work. The room said it was 68 so I kept turning the thermostat up and at one point I turned it up to 85 but the temperature of the room never got above 70. Sheets had a hole in them. Will not stay here again

We stayed here for an Alumni Golden Anniversary celebration at Missouri S & T, and the hotel was perfect. A light breakfast was going to be provided at S & T but the breakfast at Hampton Inn looked so good, we opted to get up early and eat at the hotel, and we are glad we did. It offered two kinds of waffle batter - banana and vanilla mocha with a variety of toppings (everything from strawberries, hot chocolate or caramel sauce, whipped cream, almonds, etc). Hot entrees such as omelets, sausage, bacon, country potatoes, cereal, oatmeal, pastries, fresh fruit...plenty of choices for a hungry traveler were provided. Our room was clean and comfortable. We did request a wake-up call, and the person on the phone verified the time, but alas - no wake up call ever came. Fortunately we woke

We traveled 1500+ miles taking 3 days to do it, we are no longer young. We stayed in a Hampton Inn each night and today we again spoke about those stays being the saving grace. It was always clean, always friendly and always a great breakfast spead. For us Hampton Inn means peace, relaxation and money well spent. The folks in Rolla were awesome.
