Days Inn by Wyndham Rolla

I have used this hotel many times over the past 20 years or longer. I must say that it has just about hit the bottom of the barrel. I had two rooms this past weekend. In one room the bath tub had scum on it so thick they nothing to use to clean it off. My other room the toilet barely flushed and the tub barely drained. The room I switched to had a broken heater on the night we had below freezing temps. Luckily the room stayed fairly comfortable in the 60's through out the night. The cleaning in the rooms was extremely poor. Animal hair was everywhere, if you have allergies to animals you may not want to stay here. Two things that need more attention in this hotel to make it more desirable would be attention to maintenance and more attention to cleanliness. Rooms need a lot more care

Room was perfect for our needs. Beds were comfortable and linens were fresh and crisp. Some of the towels were a little aged, but there was an adequate supply and decent sized. We didn’t take advantage of the breakfast, but it smelled good. We didn’t have much interaction with the staff, but they seemed fine. Room and common areas all seemed clean.

The room was just ok. One sheet of toilet paper left on roll, should have been a fresh roll upon entering room. Same with the tissue box-2 tissues in box, then empty. The sitting chair, (not desk chair) was filthy, full of crumbs and debris. The floors too, not swipe to my liking, debris in corners. The mini frig barely cool. Ice machine out of service, but could get ice from front desk personnel. Grounds a little sketchy, field near lot, full of dog poop and feral cats. Perhaps be pro active and have signs and 🗑️waste receptacle for desposal of dog poop and poop bags. On a positive note, the Front desk personnel were helpful and friendly.

Positive: Overall standard motel. Negative: Dead bed bugs on sheets and pillowcases. No HOT BREAKFAST… eggs… only carbs… waffle, breads. I picked its ad said hot breakfast. A waffle isn’t a hot breakfast.

Probably won’t be returning to this location. Was hoping it was going to be my new stop when visiting family. But one of the main entryways had a large window that was broken and had plastic/tape on it. When going to my room with my two children, the building smelt of weed. When I got into my room 110, the wall paper was peeling. There were gaps in the wall trim to the flooring, an outlet cover was missing and there was mold in the bathroom. The soap dispenser in the shower were discolored and looked gross. Only stayed one night.
