Hampton Inn Pawley's Island

We stayed here 2/13/2026 - 2/16/2026. We were in SC for a family wedding and a bunch of us stayed here! The room was spacious and clean, same with the bathroom. The staff was amazing - especially Tyler and Tanya! The family would hang out together in the lobby/bfast area around wedding events and it was great. Had an amazing stay and would 100% recommend!

As a Hilton Honors Gold member, I’d say run. We booked a king room and wondered why we had no lights outside our window and found out in the morning that our view was the back of the overhead where you check in. There was no hot water on check in which shows the boiler is shut down to save money, room was dated, lamps were missed matched. Lobby no different… breakfast was put out scantily Like they didn’t allow you to over eat. Glad we only booked one night. Oh, and next day found a plastic piece from the ice machine that went into my morning coffee… yuk, poor maintenance all around . Went to hilton garden at airport 2nd night and for same price, Go there instead… 15 minutes north and very nice|This one….Totally franchised… run

I hope this place appreciates it’s staff, specifically Tyler. I travel to the area for 1-3 nights every month for work and now choose this location specifically for how professional and friendly Tyler is at the front desk. Always friendly and attentive and making sure my stay is comfortable. Rooms are clean and updated with my only wish being bigger TV’s for the space. Thank you Tyler!

Our stay was great! This is a wonderfully located hotel with warm, friendly, and inviting staff. Our room was clean and spacious. The hotel is a bit older and there is always room for improvement but I would stay here again and would recommend to anyone wanting a quiet and reasonable priced nights rest. I had to take off a star for the shower faucet handle that controls the temperature. It needs to be replaced.

Positive: The hotel was clean and top notch. The staff was fantastic. The location was perfect. I had nothing to complain about. I definitely going back there Negative: I like everything about this hotel. Great breakfast and a very nice pool.
