Hampton Inn Okeechobee - Lake Okeechobee

We are Hilton Honors members and love Hilton but unfortunately this hotel is not up to par. It’s very dated and carpets are dingy. We arrived late and were so tired. The gentleman at the desk was great. We headed off to bed but when we turned down the sheets we found dirty socks in the bed. The sheets had not been change from the last guest just the bed made. There looked to be blood on the bedskirt. The dresser was broken. The lighting in the room was very dark. We went down and checked out immediately. Again the staff member was wonderful and apologized over and over. We really love Hilton but this hotel needs some help.

Bride's mother insisted best of 6 local motels close to daughter's wedding venue. Hospitality superb. Facilities need upgrades. Beds need replacement. Latest Greatest Outstanding 50" TV plenty of stations with easy access. Keyless entry. Requested roll in shower as wheelchair enabled. Only one room so equipped in facility not available. Advertised Hilton Hotel honors points, not applied due to reservation made outside their system. Breakfast was less than budget buffet. Scrambled eggs on Sunday at 8:40 AM not hot. Maple Sausage burnt in places. Saturday omelets very very good from prepared frozen ? Loved their oatmeal. Location easy to find. Convenient for all wedding events. Enjoyed 10% discount at Applebee's few steps from hotel by showing hotel key.

This has always been our hotel of choice when visiting Okeechobee. The hotel is well keep, clean, the staff is friendly and accommodating. It is quiet and located near dining options. I’m a longtime Hilton Honors member and would recommend this location to friends and relatives.

The staff was quite friendly and helpful both at check in and check out. Rooms furnishings weren't super new but everything was clean, the bed was comfortable and air conditioner worked great. Great location, close to many things. I would stay here again when in the area.
