Hampton Inn Manchester Downtown

I would like to start by saying that this location has very helpful, patient, and friendly staff. However, there needs to be a clearer pet policy and a better process for handling pets. I stayed for one night, and my husband dropped me off in the lobby while briefly carrying our very small dog. Neither my husband nor my dog stayed the night, and the dog never entered the room. On the day of checkout, the attendant (who did not check me in) asked whether I had a pet staying with me, and I stated that I did not. At that time, I believed this was simply being noted in my reservation or record. I later noticed that my credit card had been overcharged, which is when I called the hotel. That same gentleman resolved the issue fairly promptly over the phone. So what happened initially was, anot

Positive: The hotel was in perfect condition. Staff was very friendly and efficient. The breakfast were very good. Room service was A 1. The pool was also very good. I would come back again. Negative: Not at all

I loved my room. I had the 1 bedroom suite and it was spacious. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was basic but good. This hotel had free parking which was a plus for me and it's right off the highway.

Had a good 4 night stay here! The hotel has been recently remodeled and the style is nice. The room was comfortable for sleeping, comfortable beds that were nice and warm in November. Nice hot water, although pressure could be better. It was relatively quiet for a Hampton, which can have really noisy halls. I did not run the heat at night as it stayed comfortable on the 4th floor, which helps with those noisy a/c units. My shower curtain smelled like mold & I should have had it changed. The bathroom floor was not really clean when I checked in, but I wear slippers so it was fine. Breakfast was standard Hampton. Shout out to Norman who was great in keeping the area stocked & clean. Stayed on the river/city side to avoid hwy noise and it was quieter, still could hear some city noise; view is
