The hotel is at a good location, nice little beach, heated pool and the staff were very friendly too. Erta is the best front desk manager ever. Super super kind! We enjoyed our stay and had a fantastic experience seeing the Manatees in the bay.

Positive: The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and welcoming in a great location nearby to many restaurants and activities. The staff were all very friendly as well. We were able to fish right at the back of the hotel. Negative: The room had a strong smell, but was otherwise very clean and comfortable

Highly recommended for families with kiddos!||My family and I stayed at the Hampton Inn Key Largo for 3 nights starting on New Years Eve Dec. 31. We were fortunate to stay in a Pool Side room with Double Beds on the 2nd floor. During our stay, the staff made it very clear that the hotel is under renovation so there was a bunch of construction happening on the 2nd floor East wing. Our stay was for our anniversary which happened to be over Valentines Weekend 2026. We gave this location an overall 5 Star review as Erta, Juliana, Maggie and the entire hospitality and service support staff went above and beyond to make our family feel welcome and made sure any needs were met. Hampton's hot breakfast offerings is always a great start to the day! The location is a hidden gem, with it's own private beach and a stunning sunset view. We were able to paddle board and kayak the sound and see a live dolphin show adjacent to the hotel and view from our kayaks. We also saw manatee while in the bay and in the canal along property. Lots of great things going on here and they are updating the rooms starting on the second floor (heard some construction while we were there). The rooms are comfortable but decor is very outdated and the carpet worn. The beds are memory foam and were quite comfortable. Our room was first floor with patio near the pool. The grounds are nice with a beautiful beach and waterfront area, sweet tiki bar with great cocktails and friendly service, and a nice pool, workout room and laundry facilities (for $). The breakfast included is always appreciated and the dining area is quite large. Staff were very friendly and helpful with questions and recommendations. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back but would check on the status of the renovations.
