Hampton Inn Guntersville

Talk about hospitality at its very best! The staff here at the Hampton Inn is more than accommodating to say the least! We had never heard of Guntersville Alabama. We came here for a fishing charter. My wonderful spouse was going to be out on the lake for six hours and I thought I was gonna have to keep myself busy for pretty much the entire time. I called the hotel to see about an early check-in. Not only did they have my room ready at 10:30 AM and allowed me to check in… But the follow up was absolutely amazing! The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff has been amazing! So friendly and definitely cares about customer service! Karoline (sorry I may have misspelled her name) is an absolute rockstar! Friendly staff, really welcoming. Room was large with fridge, microwave and coffee facilities. A little dated but clean. Small gym with treadmill, strider, bike and weights. Small outdoor pool which we didn’t use because it rained the whole time. Breakfast was your basic eggs, cereal, yogurts, sausage and tea and coffee available all day. I was road side so I could hear it but it didn’t keep me awake .

The hotel has been remodeled under new ownership and looks great with all the new furniture, top to bottom Walls and carpet. The staff is always welcoming from the front desk, breakfast staff and the housekeeping and maintenance departments keep this location very clean and in working order. The location on the lake makes it absolutely beautiful overlooking Lake Guntersville is a treat. If you need a place for Business, Leasure or Family fun I recommend this location to you all.

Older hotel that is on the schedule for repairs. Our first night, the elevator was down and our room was right next to the stairwell. Slamming doors all night. Beds were comfy and the hotel was quiet beside the door slamming. Breakfast was the typical continental breakfast. Beautiful view of the water. Everyone working here was very kind. Rate matched the accommodations so no complaints there!
