Hampton Inn Defiance

First two nights were great! Quiet and clean room. Third night was terrible- loud, fighting, people passed out in hallway. Thought the hotel would do more to control the rowdy ones. We were compensated with a whopping 250 points. Yay

we're here in defiance for the Leila festival, which will be fine. We got the last room at the Hampton Hampton last night and were tickled pink to be put on the fourth floor, which had just been totally renovated. I'm sure that we are the only people who are the first people to stay in that room since the renovation. The first floor looks pretty modern. Everything is clean and breakfast is fine.One thing about the breakfast is three young women showed up in their pajamas in the hotel lobby for breakfast. Is that a thing now?

My husband and I usually travel to Ohio once a year and stay at this hotel. We have had nothing but great experience with the staff and cleanliness of the hotel. Last night as we were trying to sleep we hear music coming from the first floor. We stayed on the third floor and it was extraordinary loud. We called the front desk at 12:30 am to make a noise complaint. Come to find out it was the OWNERS birthday… I’m sorry but this was so disrespectful to everyone trying to sleep in that hotel. I am all for celebrating birthdays but this was way too loud and nothing was being done about it. We didn’t go to bed till after 1 am that night. I can’t say we will ever recommend this hotel or even stay here because of the inconsideration for guests. Please do better.

I had a really bad experience and won't stay at this property again, your results will probably be better than mine, unless you plan to do anything before 6am. It has been renovated and they did a good job on that. Rooms are clean and pretty quiet. However, I stayed for 4 nights and had a bad experience. Monday night everything was fine, the problems started Tuesday morning. I got up and went to the lobby for coffee, but there wasn't any coffee in the lobby, the whole station was taken apart and the pots were gone. This was a little after 5am. Not a huge deal as there was coffee in the room, I prefer lobby coffee but whatever. So I go back to my room and enjoy a cup of coffee then put my gym clothes on and head to the fitness center. Above-standard Hampton Inn, especially for the area. Convenient location close to US-24, lots of shopping & food options nearby. Clean facility, clean rooms. The king bed could have had king pillows (with a little more thickness), and a quick housekeeping visit to clear trash & change towels each day would have been welcomed. Little things, not deal-breaking. Will likely stay again.
