Defiance Inn

The first warning signs are they only accept cash. We are used to staying in places at the lower end so have low expectations when we pay $40 for a night but this place got even lower.||||The walls are all marked, paint peeling, water stains. The bathroom window couldn't close so they duct taped some plastic sheeting over the whole window (good security system!). The room had a door that seemed to lead to the office area, (we could hear the owners talking), which we couldn't lock from our side. Yes it was locked but it appeared that they could unlock it at anytime.||||The bathroom was dirty and very old, we had a opened bar of soap left for our use (not a common hotel sized one, a large one you would buy for your home).||||Now the worse thing, the bed. It wasn't really a bed it was 3 mattr

How can one give zero stars? It's closed permanently & for a very long time.

I road by this place on May 30, 2014. It is closed. The building is boarded up and abandoned.

It's a rat trap. Nasty place
