Hampton Inn by Hilton Detroit Dearborn

We stayed here during our visit to Detroit and Ford village. This is located within the busy town and tough to get in and out of the hotel during peak hours. The hotel has a place for us to pull the car check in and then 2 parking lots to park the car with reasonable walking distance. The check-in process was smooth, and we got checked in. The room was clean and spacious. There is a nice fitness room and swimming pool area. The hotel does have a laundry and dryer machine. |The staff at the front desk was very helpful and assisted us with any additional questions we had during the stay.| There are a lot of eateries and food options closer by at reach and great town. The breakfast was very good and able to satisfy the family. I would definitely stay here again on my visit to Dearborn !!

Litany of issues from check-in to a room that was not what we reserved to another room after the toilet did not work. The room we ended up with was clean and overall it was a good visit. Breakfast was a little low key and met minimum hotel standards for a free breakfast - nothing to call out and great or bad - it was just OK. Staff was attentive and helpful when I did bring something to their attention and I would probably stay there again but it was quite unremarkable.

This hotel used to be a good place to stay with a nice location in proximity of many restaurants and activities but has gone downhill. Last few times I have standing here have been awful. Place is dirty, they don't clean your room and if they do, they do not do a very good job. Just walking in the front lobby, behind the front desk is filthy and unorganized. Asked them to clean my room after 2 nights and nothing. Had to complain to the manager however he did give a free night but was not worth it. Toilet in room did not work and they could not send anyone so I had to go to front desk to get plunger and do it myself. I will not stay here again! The one in Allen Park is much nicer and at least they clean the room. No more!!!

Positive: parking was convenient, but there was a $5 a day fee. Negative: pool was kind of cool, not much fun. breakfast was a bit bland.

Location was good, close to many restaurants. The facilities were decent. The service was bad. The front desk people were not very friendly and the housekeeping of the room was awful. We checked in late in the evening to a room with a half cleaned bathroom, with a dirty shower and sink. The next day we requested the room be cleaned as they informed us when we checked in that they clean the rooms every other day, we were staying for four nights. Two days later when they came to clean they made the bed and changed the towels but didn't clean the toilet or sink. We had to request the bathroom be cleaned again! I would not stay here again and go to a place with better service!
